Clothing
Ladakh is as frigid as it gets in terms of temperature. With temperatures plummeting to around -30 degrees below freezing, you’ll need to bring all of your warm clothing and possibly buy a couple more. Warm clothing must be worn from head to toe, with woollen clothing inside and wind cheaters outside, as well as waterproof shoes if available.
Communication
Boti is the predominant dialect spoken in Ladakh. Other regional languages exist, with English being the least widely spoken.
